Arti Gras Jupiter’s Premier Outdoor Art Festival

February is Arti Gras time! This fun, exciting outdoor art festival takes place in Jupiter over President’s Day weekend. The area’s local talented artists display their artwork, while a variety of live music plays. Arti-goers will also be able to enjoy assortment of delicious food.

Arti Gras offers more than 250 artisans, many of which are local that will be presenting high quality arts and crafts.There are 13 categories of art including Ceramics, Drawing and Printmaking, Digital Art, Painting, Photography and Sculpture. There will also be demonstations on how some of the artisits create their own unique works of art. Arti Gras has the distinct honor of being ranked in the top 50 as one of America’s best art fairs.

In addition to the wonderful array of art, live music will be performed on the main stage. The music includes jazz, rock, country and r&b.

And what is an outdoor festival without fabulous food? The Green Market offers salad, fruit and sandwiches; the All American has hamburgers and hot dogs; Taste of Tuscany has Italian dishes; and for more exotic fare the Asian Fusion offers stir fry and lo mein.

For beer lovers, the “Craft Beer Tasting” takes place on Saturday, February 13th from 1:00 – 4:00 PM, with many local and regional brews available.

And for the little ones? There are a variety of activities planned for kids. The “ArtiKids” area provides an interactive hands-on art experience. The “Tiny Treasures Children’s Art Boutique” offers fine art geared specifically to children.  Children from local schools grades K-12 will have an opportunity to display their art at the Youth Art Gallery.

Arti Gras started out at the North Palm Beach Country Club more than a quarter of a century ago, and today it is a nationally recognized art festival. Some of the proceeds go to benefit year-round programs in the Northern Palm Beaches, including schools, charities and Chamber of Commerce activities.

The Arti Gras Fine Arts Festival will be held on Saturday February 13, 2016 thru Sunday February 15, 2016. Saturday and Sunday 10-6 Monday 10-5. Free parking and free shuttle service are available. Arti Gras takes place in downtown Abacoa, in Jupiter. It will be located on Central Boulevard between Main Street Circle, Frederick Small Circle and University Boulevard. Tickets are $10 in advance at Gardens Mall Information Desk, Roger Dean Stadium box office or online at www.artigras.org. Tickets at the gate are $12.00 and kids 12 and under free. No pets are allowed.
